What the Thyroid Hormone Profile Tests:

• Anti-TPO (Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody): This test detects antibodies that may indicate autoimmune thyroid disease, such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

• Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibody: Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb) are immune proteins that target thyroglobulin, a protein produced by the thyroid gland. Elevated levels are associated with autoimmune thyroid disorders, such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease.
